Mr. Toads Restaurant & Bar – A unique concept inspired by the name ‘Mr. Toad’s going back to the roots of the classic story ‘Wind in the Willows’ where Mr. Toad originated form. Mr. Toad lived in ‘Toad Hall’ a traditional English Elizabethan house boasting a grand and elaborate style with medieval and Tudor references. The grasslands and woodlands that Mr. Toad and his friends regularly ventured through are reflected in the design to set the scene paired with English heritage references to Mr. Toad’s home and affluence. To weave the narrative and location together the design is applied in a more contemporary and industrial way with references to the English pub heritage creating the perfect scene for Mr. Toads! 

A welcoming pub and kitchen that caters to all members of the community. You will find a Traditional British dining experience, complimented by some regional favourites, in a classic Pub style environment. Mr. Toad’s Pub & Kitchen is not just a watering hole, it has a casual, comfortable essence with a welcoming interior. Perfect for an after-work pit- stop or an evening out with friends, offering daily Happy Hours, live sports, and an outdoor terrace/garden.

Ergo’s scope of work for this unique conceptual design was to supply light fixtures and bring beautiful interior design to life with our technical and decorative lighting products that have been completely customized, handmade, and delivered in an extremely limited time frame. Elaborate crystal chandeliers hang through the urban yet rich interior. Quirky lily pad lighting pieces bring in the feeling of adventuring through the woodlands.
