Expo 2020 Dubai is the Universal Exhibition that will be held in the United Arab Emirates from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, the first of its kind to be held in the Middle East.

Philippines Pavilion with the galleries of the pavilion, conveying the main theme of the Bangkota – Philippines coral Reef. The Architecture design is based on the Budji+Royal philosophy: drawing inspiration from nature and organic materials, man interacting with nature, and Filipino creativity. The mesh and steel exteriors will show permeability or cross-ventilation, a characteristic of Filipino architecture. The Mesh Facade is embellished with reflective discs suggesting the sun on the rippling water.

Ergo’s scope in this unique nature-inspired project was to design and supply LED light fixtures with a variety of lighting effects fitted within the architectural elements of the pavilion in addition to the supply, installation, and commission of a cutting-edge lighting & control system for the entire project.
